Sacramento Iris Society

Current Events of the Sacramento Iris Society (SIS)

Membership in SIS is open to all.  SIS is a nonprofit organization affiliated with the American Iris Society.   Membership is made of people that share a common interest and passion for the beautiful and very diverse iris family.  Although out focus is usually on bearded iris, we collect and admire the other iris forms, such as pacific coast irises, Japanese, Siberians, and Spurias, to name a few.

Thanks to past iris society shows, friends, and a couple of commercial growers (eg Loomis) my front yard has gone from bedraggled grass last year to complete iris showplace this year. Neighbors LOVE them. See you at the July sale.

The July rhizome sale for 2018 will be the second weekend — July 14-15.
A change from the past years.
